Family-friendly Xbox Live Arcade Collection Gets New Update, Sweet Price Point this Week
Monday just got a bit sweeter for board game enthusiasts with the announcement of this week’s XBOX LIVE “Deal of the Week” promotion: from October 12 to October 18, all of the titles in the HASBRO FAMILY GAME NIGHT collection on Xbox LIVE Arcade—SCRABBLE (US & Canada only), BATTLESHIP, CONNECT FOUR, BOGGLE, YAHTZEE, SORRY!, and SORRY! SLIDERS—will be 50% off for Xbox LIVE Gold Members at just 400 MSP each.
EA’s HASBRO FAMILY GAME NIGHT destination on Xbox LIVE Arcade is also celebrating its success with a new update that enables players to set up Xbox LIVE multiplayer matches with one of three new visibility settings: Private, in which players can only join by host invite and offers uninterrupted party play; Public, which is open and visible by “custom search” to allow anyone who has the game to join; and Friends Only, which is open and visible only by using “Find Friends” in the search menu offered in game.
