Montreal-Based Publisher’s Titles to be Added to Expanding Indies Line-up

Meridian4, a rising Montreal-based video game publisher, today announced that their titles will soon be available via GameTap, the first-of-its-kind broadband entertainment network for gamers created by Turner Broadcasting. Past titles, as well as new games like Shadowgrounds Survivor and Gumboy will begin appearing on GameTap in early 2008 as part of their expanding list of GameTap Indies featured in the service.

“We’ve been really impressed with GameTap’s commitment to continually providing its users with high-quality games, including new hits and classics,” said Steve Milburn, Director of Meridian4. “The agreement with GameTap helps us to broaden our reach and lets us get products from our excellent development partners out to an even greater number of gamers.”

The announcement further demonstrates Meridian4’s commitment to embracing digital distribution, providing its development partners with tremendous reach for their products through a variety of leading online outlets.

“Having expanded our service into Canada, partnering with Meridian4 to offer their titles on GameTap is a perfect fit,” said Ricardo Sanchez, vice president of content and creative director for GameTap. “We are always looking to partner with publishers that offer a diverse selection of titles for both our subscribers and website visitors.”
