THQ releases some of its PC titles on Direct2Drive

Blockbuster Titles Such as Supreme Commander, STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl and Company of Heroes Now All Available Via Digital Download
Direct2Drive (D2D), IGN Entertainment's digital retail store, today announced an agreement to digitally distribute a broad catalog of PC game titles from THQ Inc, one of the world's top gaming and entertainment software publishers. Through this agreement, titles such as Supreme Commander and STALKER: Shadows of Chernobyl were simultaneously available for sale both digitally on Direct2Drive and through traditional retail stores.
THQ joins Direct2Drive's AAA roster of leading game publishers with titles available for digital download on D2D. The list, which also includes Atari, Activision, Blizzard Entertainment, Eidos, Electronic Arts, Namco, NCsoft, Sega, Sony Online Entertainment, Ubisoft, Vivendi Universal Games and 2K Games, underscores the growing investment the industry's top publishers are making in digital delivery.
