Goozex, Inc. has added PC games to its trading platform to meet growing
customer demand.
The addition of PC games to the company's product line
is an important growth milestone. According to the NPD Group, an
entertainment consulting firm, the PC game market had $953 million in
sales in 2005. Goozex expects PC games to be a strong trading segment
primarily because of the lack of options available to the end consumer.
As evidence, over 800 unique PC titles have been added by members to
the Goozex library since they were made available on October 31, 2006.
The
addition of PC games is largely fueled by customer demands, and is an
extension of Goozex's commitment to be a user driven service. "The
response we've received since our appearance in December's PCGamer has
been driving us to really get PC games available on Goozex," said
Jonathan Dugan, Founder and COO. He continued to say that, "you can't
find PC games for trade in regular used video game stores and outside
of eBay and Half.com, you really can't find it anywhere else. Needless
to say, we are extremely excited about adding PC games and we plan to
fully support this trading segment with augmented services."
More
community driven PC game related features are expected to be introduced
on Goozex over the next few months. Already supporting PC trades is a
private messaging communications tool built in September. It is
designed to let traders resolve disputes and interact with each other
in ways that create a more vibrant gaming community.
