Wii Launch Date?

We have finally got the confirmed launch date for ... Japan! The Wii will be launched in Japan on December the 2nd with 25-30 games.

So what's the price you say? 250,000 yen Hmmm have we heard that number before.

We also have a rumor from the New York Times stating the USA launch date of the Wii. The rumor is currently saying the Launch date as November the 19th for 250 dollars. The US version of hte Wii will also come packed with Wii Sports. There will again be 25 launch titles with 20 Nintendo virtual console games by the end of this year. We also have some pricing info such as the Wii's main game cost is 50 dolalrs not the insane 60 that both the PS3 and Xbox 360 games are selling for. The downloadable "Virtual Console" Games will cost between 5-10 dollars respectfully.

There are CONFRIMED Channels these include the following:
"There will be a photo channel that will allow users to use the Wii to display digital photographs on television.

There also will be an easy-to-use interactive news channel and weather channel."

There has also been confirmed an Opera Wii browser but in all this good news we have yet been informed about the Wii's Dvd capabilities which it was rumored to have. Alas we are again stuck asking more questions that Nintendo will suplly answers for.
