This followup boasts a much improved system of play as well as a very deep story. When you first start the game it joins Roxas, who is a new and short lived addition to the game. To avoid many spoilers I will only tell you that what you see and learn through him is very imprtant to the game so pay attention. There is a new type of enemy, the nobodies, added to the game as well as a mysterious group of people called Organization XIII (13),
Since I haven't had a lot of time to delve into the game all I can really say at this point is it is great. The sounds are well designed as well as a very impressive musical score. The graphics are astounding and the gamelay unique but very fun. If Black was supposed to be the last great title on PS2 then something went wrong somewhere because this is definately it. Plan to see a full review on the game within a week or two (depending on the time it takes to finish it which is looking to already exceed the 24 hours it took me to complete the original).

This is the KH2 quick review. Since I just got my hands on the game today I have yet to be able to fully review it, but since I know alot of people want to hear about it I will do a quick review article.
The first thing I noticed with this game is the massive changes it underwent from the original to now. The most noticible change, a great improvement I will add, is that the command menu has had the open/examine selection replaced with the new reaction command. This makes things much easier. Also the camera has been greatly improved. One more thing I like about it, and a great move on Square-Enix's part, was the way it incorporated enough of the first game to give you a refresher, or if you haven't played the first, that gets you up to speed and also includes enough of the story of the GBA title Chain of Memories to fill those who never played it in on that. The only downside to that is it takes hours (literally) to complete. So far not having gotten past but maybe 10% of the game I have already logged 6 hours. The first 3 getting through the refresher course and finally getting to see the logo showing me the true game was starting.This followup boasts a much improved system of play as well as a very deep story.
